ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS contains Zolmitriptan which belongs to a group of medicines called as Anti-migraine agents. It is used to relieve migraine headaches and other associated symptoms of a migraine attack.

A migraine headache is caused by the widening of the blood vessels in the head. Always take this ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS as advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems. Consult your doctor for advice.

How to use ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS

Take this ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. Place the medicine on the tongue, where it will dissolve and be swallowed with the saliva and do not drink water to swallow medicine. Check the label for directions for use.

Nausea and Vomiting:

Interactions

A. Drug-Drug Interactions:

Before taking ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS inform your doctor if you take any of the following medicine:

• sumatriptan, naratriptan, rizatriptan, almotriptan (used to manage migraine)
• fluoxetine, sertraline, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, venlafaxine, phenelzine, tranylcypromine and moclobemide (manages depression)
• cimetidine (indigestion or stomach ulcers)
• ciprofloxacin (manages infection)
• St John’s wort (herbal medicine)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of this ZOLITAS ODS 2.5 ORAL DISINTEGRATING STRIPS consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
